Eureka’s floor cleaning machines are now safer than ever, thanks to the new Blue Safety Spotlight.

The blue light beam is projected onto the ground from a special light installed on board the sweeper or scrubber dryer.

Visible even in natural light conditions, the blue spotlight is positioned several meters ahead of the machine providing an early warning, which leaves plenty of time for bystanders to move out of the way, allowing the sweeper or scrubber to safely pass.

This kit is particularly useful in the presence of blind spots, in applications where equipment is used in aisles with busy intersections, or in very congested areas.

Furthermore, as the blue light is a visual warning, as oppose to an acoustic warning, it draws attention without disturbing. Audible devices can be invasive and unpleasant to the ear, especially in low noise environments, and at the same time an alarm may not be heard in noisy environments or in applications where ear protection is being used.

The human brain, by nature, pays selective attention to the sight of color and to moving light sources. For this reason, Eureka’s blue safety spotlight is an effective alternative to warn that a floor sweeper or scrubber dryer is approaching.

It is as efficient as a beeper and in comparison, the blue light is not at all intrusive or irritating.

The use of Eureka’s blue safety spotlight improves safety in manufacturing applications and commercial spaces for both operators, pedestrians and even objects.

The kit is applicable to the entire Eureka ride-on sweeper and ride-on scrubber dryer range, excluding for the moment the Tigra compact sweeper.

It’s simple and robust, and it’s precisely these characteristics which enhance the Blue Safety Spotlight’s efficiency and ease of use.
