Eureka has been producing industrial floor cleaning machines since 1986, and has gained a growing reputation on the global market.
Eureka was formed in 1986 by two young entrepreneurs who decided to focus on the production of a complete range of sweepers. This led to Eureka quickly becoming recognised as a “specialist” in the industrial cleaning sector, capable of responding successfully to a mature market that demanded increasingly innovative and productive machines.
The first prototypes were based on a small sweeper (which later became the model 500). This needed to offer innovation to meet Eureka’s design philosophy: it therefore introduced a automatic filter shaker.
This was only the first in a long series of innovative concepts conceived and applied to Eureka machines for the benefit of a growing number of distributors and end users in response to continuous demand for reliable and cost-effective solutions.
1986
Introduction of the 500
"...at that time, we were working in very small premises in Fontaniva, and only had two employees. Our very first sweeper was the now famous 500. Renato Scremin assembled the machines by hand, and I used to go out and sell them..." G. Lago, Co-owner.
1988
Introduction of the 700 S/E
"...surprisingly, our machines proved highly successful and in 1988 we moved to San Giorgio in Bosco. That move was a great step forward for us: the factory was bigger and we could take on more people. Until then it had been just me... At the end of that year we launched the 700, probably the most robust walk-behind sweeper ever built..." - R. Scremin, Co-owner
1991
Introduction of the Rider 1200 S/E
"...then came the Rider 1200, in 1991. This was an ambitious project since it was our first ride-on sweeper. The Rider was followed by the Compact in 1995. These two models came to account for over 50% of our turnover and established a new era for our organisation..." G. Lago - R. Scremin, Co-founders.
1993
Introduction of the Picobello 150 and 200
1995
Compact 1150
The Compact 1150 was a revolution – a new cost-effective way to enjoy Eureka quality.
1997
Expansion and introduction of the Magnum
"Our growth necessitated another move, this time to a new site with a production area of 5,000 m². "...As time went on, we added more and more models to our range, and added more and more floorspace to our factory as new employees joined our family. I recall with pleasure the introduction of the Magnum in 1998. This machine helped to extend our technical know-how and boost our international expansion."
2003
New 12,000 m² site
Eureka’s new site at Viale dell’Artigianato 30/32, Cittadella (Padua) was inaugurated. This larger plant allowed Eureka to meet growing international demand.
2005
“Innovation Award”
Picobello 151, a revolutionary push sweeper, won the exclusive INNOVATION AWARD at the 2005 PULIRE VERONA trade fair. The Picobello 151 is still the only all-mechanical (no batteries, no motors) vacuum sweeper on the market.
2008
Introduction of the unique ECOsystem for scrubber-dryers
Eureka developed an innovative system for recovering cleaning solution, aimed at maximising profits and reducing waste while respecting the environment. The system received recognition from the University of Padua.
2013
2 new “Innovation Awards” for the Picobello 151
Following the success of the Picobello sweeper at the Verona trade fair in 2005, the machine’s uniqueness was confirmed by further international recognition.

Birmingham, Cleaning Show
Australia, INCLEAN
2015
Eureka S.r.l. officially became Eureka S.p.A. Unipersonale
This change came in response to constant growth that had established Eureka as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of floor cleaning machines.
2016
Launch of the compact E36 and E46 scrubber-dryers and the EC52 escalator cleaner
With the acquisition of CLEMAK PRO S.r.l., Eureka expanded its range of industrial scrubber-dryers to include the E36 and E46, compact and versatile models for the professional cleaning of small or difficult-to-access floors.
The EC52 escalator cleaner expanded Eureka’s target segments with an immediately popular and revolutionary proposal.
2019
BULL 200 industrial sweeper
The BULL 200 ushers in a new era. Eureka’s highest-performance sweeper featured an all-metal body and the exclusive BULLsystem technology. Among other things, this technology maximises cleaning efficiency, compacts dirt in the debris hopper and allows the machine to overcome speed bumps of all sizes.
2020
Opening of the Eureka Veneto plant
The new plant, at Via dell’Industria 13, Cittadella (Padua), allowed Eureka to serve local customers more efficiently and to offer direct sales, rentals and technical assistance.
2022
A subsequent extension brought Eureka’s indoor production area to over 20,000 m2. The plant was completed by a modern 20 m high vertical warehouse, a jewel of automation that optimised and accelerated the handling of 6,000 crates and 600 pallets.
