The controls are simple and ergonomic. One pedal controls both forward and reverse travel. The levers for lowering and lifting the brushes and the buttons for the filter shaker and vacuum cut-off can be activated from the main control panel.
When needed, the flap lift can be operated directly from the driver’s seat. This allows the main brush to pick up even large and bulky debris without the operator having to step off the machine.
Retractable, shockproof side brushes allow the Rider 1201 to be used safely even in confined spaces and facilitate accurate cleaning along walls and around obstacles.
The Rider 1201 ride-on sweeper is also available with an integrated vacuum cleaner that the operator can use to clean under tables and chairs, in recesses, and on shelves and raised surfaces.
The floating and self-levelling main brush ensures excellent performance even on uneven surfaces. It can also be replaced quickly without the need for tools.
An 85-litre debris hopper is one of the key features that allow the Rider 1201 to work for longer without having to stop frequently for emptying.
The Rider 1201’s filtration system incorporates a polyester pocket filter and an electric shaker. The filter retains even the finest dust and, because it is anti-static and washable, has a far longer life than conventional filters.
In the Total Steel version, the entire machine is covered by steel bodywork and special reinforcement plates protect the side brush assembly (or assemblies).
