Battery powered scrubbers

When to Choose and Why Prefer a Battery Powered Floor Scrubber from Eureka?

By battery powered industrial floor scrubbers, we mean all those electric scrubbers that rely on energy storage devices, commonly known as traction batteries, for their operation.

There are many models of professional floor scrubbers available on the market, which can be categorized into different types based on size, type of traction, or various other technical aspects and performance indicators.

However, all floor scrubber machines always have at least two common elements: the presence of a brush unit and a drying unit, which require a motor to operate and, therefore, a power source. In the world of scrubbers, due to their extensive use in indoor environments, the drive motors are almost all electric. Depending on the case, they can be powered by a cord or by batteries.

In particular, cleaning machines for larger surfaces, such as self-propelled industrial floor scrubbers, are all battery-powered, while a floor scrubber designed for smaller spaces can also be corded. The major advantage of battery power is the lack of movement constraints in the workspace. A battery-powered industrial scrubber produces no harmful emissions, and its only limitation in range is the battery life.

Eureka Battery powered scrubbers

Eureka's battery powered floor scrubbers are designed to provide the operator with ease of use and straightforward maintenance. The machines are optimized for long battery life, with battery units sized to ensure the best mix of performance, cost, and ease of management.

In Eureka scrubbers, the battery compartment is always located for quick access, and for lead-acid batteries, an automatic refill kit is also available for easier and safer maintenance, ensuring battery longevity. Additionally, all Eureka models come standard with an onboard battery charger, allowing batteries to be recharged anywhere and at any time, provided there is an available electrical outlet.

Eureka electric floor scrubbers for professional floor cleaning are available with configurations for AGM, Sonnenshine, or gel batteries. For greater convenience in management and ease of replacement—an important factor given the weight of these items—industrial battery packs in box form are also available for larger machines, the most common type used for forklifts and other machinery in production facilities and logistics centers.

A version of the floor scrubber with lithium-ion batteries is available for the E36 model. Among the main advantages: they require no maintenance, last longer, and recharge in less time than other types of batteries.

Unique features

Zero emissions

Being electric, these floor cleaning machines do not emit exhaust gases, are very quiet, and can therefore be used in enclosed spaces, even in the presence of other people.

With Onboard Charger

All Eureka battery-powered floor scrubbers are equipped with onboard chargers. The machine can be recharged anywhere there is a standard electrical outlet.

Freedom of Movement

Compared to corded versions, battery-powered machines allow for complete mobility in the cleaning area without the constraint of a power cord.
