ECOsystem is Eureka’s technology that saves water, detergent and labour. It is a benchmark for the scrubber-dryer market.

The ECOsystem allows you maximise the cleaning potential of the detergent solution, including the part that is typically wasted.

When a machine with conventional technology has completed the first pass, all the cleaning solution is collected in the recovery tank for disposal even though approximately 60% of the solution is still active. Every time the cleaning solution runs out, the operator has to stop the machine, empty the dirty water tank, and add more detergent and clean water. This has a significant impact on the consumption of resources, on the time taken by the operator to complete the job, and on the cost of wastewater disposal.

With the ECOsystem, cleaning solution that has only been used once is filtered, regenerated and reused in the cleaning cycle. One tank full of water and detergent can therefore clean a much larger area compared to a traditional scrubber-dryer. By saving time, detergent and water, the total cost of each cleaning session is reduced by up to 80%.

For all these reasons, the ECOsystem has received international awards and recognition for machines and technologies that deliver major water savings, such as inclusion in the UK’s Water Technology List.

EUREKA SCRUBBER-DRYERS WITH ECOSYSTEM:

ECOsystem comes as standard on all E110 D – E110 R – E100 – E85 ride-on scrubber-dryers. It is also installed on ECO versions of the E81 – E71 – E61 – E51 walk-behind machines.

All Eureka ride-on machines with ECOsystem are also equipped as standard with a self-cleaning system that keeps the machine in perfect working order.

An example of potential savings?

Considering average cleaning times, for the weekly cleaning of 1,000 square metres using a machine with a 40-litre capacity, Eureka’s ECOsystem saves up to two thirds of the detergent typically used and 30 hours of work per year, with all the associated costs.
