Manual sweepers

When and why to choose an Eureka manual sweeper?

What exactly is a manual sweeper? A manual sweeper has to be pushed by its operator. In other words, its movement depends solely on the pressure exerted by the operator on the handle. On this type of machine, the legs of the operator serve as the “traction motor”. Manual sweepers are therefore the most ecological machines on the market. Manual sweepers are generally compact in size, so they can be used to sweep small to medium size floors quickly and without fatigue.

Eureka manual sweeper

The manual sweepers in the Eureka range are the Picobello 101 and the Picobello 151 Ecovac. All Eureka manual sweepers stand out for their:

  • Efficiency
  • Durability
  • Fully mechanical operation

Eureka’s two manual models are high-efficiency push sweepers that let you sweep floors at least ten times faster than with a traditional brush and pan. They can be used on all types of floor since brush pressure can be adjusted to suit the surface and the type of dirt. Eureka manual sweepers also have some of the largest debris hoppers in their class, which eliminates the need for multiple stoppages for emptying.

Finally, both the Picobello 101 and the Picobello 151 Ecovac are fully mechanical in operation and incorporate no electronic components. Maintenance is therefore drastically reduced and simplified. They are extremely quiet too, since no battery-powered motors or engines are involved.

The Picobello 151 Ecovac also features a patented, world-class dust control system thanks to which the machine not only sweeps, but aspirates and filters dust too. All without the need for electrical power or engines. The Ecovac patent makes Eureka’s Picobello 151 the only fully mechanical push sweeper capable of dust filtration.

Unique features

Always at your service

A push mechanical sweeper is always ready for use. It has no engine or batteries, making it environmentally friendly, consumption-free, and it does not require downtime for recharging or refueling.

10 times faster than a broom

Sometimes, the areas to be cleaned are not particularly large but require consistent care. Cleaning them with a broom and dustpan would be a waste of time: using a manual sweeper allows for more thorough cleaning and is, on average, 10 times faster.

Quiet zones

Due to its size and features, a manual sweeper is extremely easy to transport, takes up little space, and requires no maintenance. It is perfect for cleaning hard-to-reach areas, such as those arranged on levels connected by steps, as well as for sweeping quiet zones.
