Eureka is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, specifically with its Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems, aimed at developing new sustainable technologies for the professional cleaning industry.
The partnership has been established to accelerate research and innovation in sustainability and technology through a shared project that combines industrial expertise with scientific knowledge.
“To build the future, Eureka needs outstanding partners,” the company stated. “We have asked Ca’ Foscari University to support us in further developing ECOsystem, the detergent-saving and recovery system used on our scrubber dryers. At the same time, we will also be working on new materials for the next generation of professional cleaning equipment.”
The project will directly involve Ca’ Foscari’s Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems, which has long been engaged in applied research in the fields of chemistry and sustainable technologies.
“We enthusiastically welcomed this collaboration proposal,” explained the project coordinators at Ca’ Foscari University. “On one hand, it allows us to train young researchers in innovative technologies of shared interest; on the other, it strengthens the transfer of our research activities to companies operating within the local industrial ecosystem.”
The collaboration will also include the funding, by Eureka, of a three-year PhD scholarship at Ca’ Foscari University. The program will train a young researcher specializing in the development of new sustainable technologies for professional cleaning systems.
This initiative represents a further step forward in Eureka’s commitment to responsible innovation, sustainability in professional cleaning, and the development of meaningful partnerships between industry and academia.
