HOW TO CHOOSE AN INDUSTRIAL SWEEPER?

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY PROFESSIONAL SWEEPER? WHEN do we talk about INDUSTRIAL SWEEPERS?

How do they differ from amateur machines?

Professional sweepers perform with high efficiency the cleaning tasks that, at a domestic level or on a small scale, are usually carried out with a dustpan and a broom.

They are cleaning tools designed for long-term use and for cleaning large areas, so they have been designed to clean quickly, sweeping and picking up large amounts of dirt in a single go.

Moreover, when compared to machines for amateur use, professional equipment is usually made with more durable materials, suitable to sustain years of intensive use, or in particularly dirty environments.

These are cleaning machines that are widely used in every business setting. The challenges of the manufacturing industry, with particularly demanding work environments, are the ones that have historically called the manufacturers to come up with increasingly comprehensive and high-performance solutions.
Conceived for industrial use, the best performing machines soon found application in other contexts related to retail or other professions. So much so that today we speak of industrial sweepers or professional sweepers - this is often the case with industrial cleaning machines in general - as if they were synonymous.

The adjective “industrial” is sometimes used to emphasize greater size and performance, but this is becoming increasingly applied to compact sweepers as well, as long as they are built to last and deliver quality results.

HOW AND WHERE ARE PROFESSIONAL SWEEPERS USED?

A sweeper is an extremely versatile cleaning tool that is well suited for a multitude of situations. However, its use on wet surfaces, or surfaces that are too soft, should be avoided, but there are no other limits to its use. Wherever there is a floor, a good sweeper will pick up dust and debris effectively and efficiently.

Large sweepers are highly productive and allow the cleaning of large areas in a short time, while machines with a more compact design are ideal for conveniently cleaning narrow passages and small spaces.

The most common areas of use for a sweeper are: driveways, garages, patios, within manufacturing plants. Parking lots and yards, logistics departments and goods handling areas. Markets, warehouses, stations, airports, ports... There are so many sweeper models available that there is virtually no single environment where a sweeper does not find application. A sweeper helps to keep hard floors clean everywhere, but also, with proper care, carpets and large rugs.

Depending on the type of dirt and the technical characteristics of the floor, it will be the responsibility of each professional, to be able to recommend the most suitable model and settings.

It is possible to successfully clean surfaces consisting of cement, concrete, porcelain stoneware, road surfaces, quartz cement, interlocking pavers...
